Davao : Pearl Farm Beach Resort

Davao is located at the southern part of the Philippines and home to a variety of fruits such as durian, pineapple, banana, pomelo, watermelon and many more. In fact there are a lot of banana, pineapple and durian plantation in the region. One of the places that Davaoenos (the locals of Davao) can recommend and are proud of is the Pearl Farm Beach Resort. Located at Samal Island in Davao City. This place was a true haven for couples or even friends or family who would want to chill-out from a busy life. The place offers a true tranquility.

This place was called pearl farm beach resort as this has been used to be a pearl farm where thousands of white-lipped oysters has been seen and where cultured white, gold and pink pearls. But they no longer culture any pearl here. Also sixty-meters away from the resort, two sunken Japanese ships form World War II was discovered and has been affirmed as marine sanctuary.
Husband and I visited this place last February 6-8, 2006. Two days after our wedding. It was actually a wedding gift from our friends. A three-days-two-nights stay at the hilltop or “balay” room. Such a wonderful gift and experience.
A dine at Maranao restaurant gives a most satisfying and palatable food. Local fruits are absolutely fresh and juicy. At dinner time, cultural dances were held to give tourist a first hand knowledge on what are the dances and culture in the Philippines particularly in that area. Staffs are very attentive and pleasant to all guest. I highly recommend this place if ever you stop-by Davao City.

We're visiting Davao sometime this year and we already booked a night stay there. Thanks for this post, I was reminded I still need to ask for added arrangements.
